Enjoy These Products: It’s Time To Make A Decision

Image
My health comes first and, with chronic illnesses, that doesn’t leave me the ability to work very much. I need to use those part time hours to earn money. I have been presenting products I like  on Spiritstraveler for 13 years, but I am going to have to stop. I will still consider products for social media (@Spiritstraveler on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest & Facebook) and paid partnerships. Another option to relax… The times are changing. It’s no longer just alcoholic drinks people are relaxing with. Cannabis drinks are becoming more popular and the Loki seltzers have been top rated. I really liked the flavor of the Lavender Peach, and I had a friend try, and also enjoy the Blackberry Lemon. There is no sugar in them and only five calories. These have 20 mg of hemp derived Delta 8. I am not an expert on the subject, but the Sip Loki website explains more about its properties. While not THC, it does have similar properties. It is legal in 34 states. I  have to admit th...

Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year

Unfortunately, I’m ending the year about the way I began, with my health dominating. I just had ankle reconstruction and have not gotten through all the products I’ve gotten the last few months. Truthfully, this is the only story I’ve done since the surgery and painkillers do not go with wine and spirits, so I’m afraid most of those are going to have to wait. Here’s what I have enjoyed lately. Coconut for a purpose… The benefits of coconut oil can go on and on. The top of the list for me is as a moisturizer. I’ve yet to find anything that can make my skin retain moisture like it.  It’s also a great hair conditioner, sunblock, cooking oil and more. Dignity Raw Coconut Oil does all these things as good, or better, than the rest, but its history makes it much more in need of purchase. As the name suggests, it’s about bringing dignity to by helping those living in poverty with a sustainable business. A partnership of engineers from the Philippines and the United States work...

Delicious Drinks and Eats

It’s time to celebrate the warmer weather with some refreshing drinks and healthy foods (with recipes). If You Like Piña Coladas… How about a French vodka with all-natural flavors? That’s what Alize makes and for this summer they introduced Alize Pineapple, priced at only $20. Pineapple happens to be my favorite fruit, so it was easy to get me to try this one and I wasn’t disappointed. It was the star of my tasting event over ice. I’m sure there are plenty of cocktails you can make with this, but it’s so flavorful and not too sweet and I want it straight. If you are in the mood for a Piña Colada, just add a little coconut milk. Speaking of coconut milk… Gefen Coconut Milk also arrived at my door. The company sent me the Sweetened and Unsweetened. I haven’t worked with the unsweetened yet (stay tuned for next month), but I came up with this recipe for Easy Blueberry Coconut Ice Cream with the sweetened.  It’s a cool, refreshing, treat that tastes more li...
