Marcia created the Midwest Travel section on About.com. While that site no longer exists, she started Midwest Travel with Marcia Frost Facebook Page to continue the connection to her favorite region. Ageless Accessible Adventures, formerly known as Wine And Spirits Travel, is the blog which records details of all of Marcia's adventures around the world.

Ms. Frost also does television and radio segments, including frequent appearances as the travel expert for CI Living. the afternoon lifestyle show for the Central Illinois CBS affiliate.

In 2015, Marcia was slowed by multiple autoimmune diseases. Although she continues to write and travel, it's changed dramatically as she's in a wheelchair full time. She now writes about health, from her experiences, and wheelchair accessible travel.

What I Use: Body & Hair Care

  If you’ve seen my list of face and makeup picks , I’m sure you knew there was a selection of body and hair ones to come! I am forever trying new products. It’s not just that I am looking for something new. The truth is, as you age, what you need can differ from before. I learned this is even true for your hair. Just five years ago, I didn’t need any product in my hair except in-shower conditioning. Royal Princess Inside Passage Alaska: Preparation and Embarkation

Off we go! This trip was on my bucket list as Alaska was my 50 th state. I probably spent more time in the planning than I had with any cruise ever. I wanted everything to work out as well as possible and I didn’t leave anything to chance.   When you are traveling with an assisted device, no matter what your disability is, it requires additional planning. In my case I have multiple chronic illnesses. I am able to walk some, but definitely not any distance. I am currently using a motorized scooter and have ordered a custom power wheelchair. The first step in the process is to make sure that the ship you are going on is accessible. I know this seems like a given in the year 2023, but it’s not. There are boats that do not have elevators or have room entrances a wheelchair will not fit in. Next, you want to make sure you can get around where you are going.
